Eight Bits of Nostalgia III

Getting school schedules to work out is a tiring process. Its bullshit how being a senior can get you into any class. Sigh, I guess next semester means I'm a super senior, the super-hero detested for having way too many credits. I actually have good grades, it was just cuz I chose my major late.

Remember kids not in college, when they say that you have time after getting into college to choose your major, its bullshit. Figure it out in high school or you're going to end up stuck in school for MORE time. I have this. You don't want this.

Time to finish off this threesome (I hope I get to say this outside of the internet someday.) For my third and final installment, I'm pretty sure there will be at least some enthusiasts out there who'll recognize this yellow glutton.

Pac-Man was such a bitch to make, since he's a round character and making him round while keeping the 8-bit(cube) effect was not easy but ah well, I'm happy with the result. As well as with the models come the backgrounds I made so if you're into anything you've seen, check these out.

Finally ,its done. Now I can get back to doing some normal stuff. For a blog named I draw stuff, I haven't been posting any drawing at all lately. I'll rectify that with my next post which will be the last art request for one of my friends, then I can start doing some art requests for people online again.
Let me know what you'd like to see me draw and I'll get around to it if I like the idea. Alright then, all the links to all my other stuff are on the right and I'm planning on changing the layout, I don't know when, but I want a more of a 2010 look. Don't forget to comment on this.

Eight Bits of Nostalgia I

No posts? College, thats my excuse.

New stuff to post?College, thats my push... to not fail.

So hey, wasup, I'm back. I've been working on some really cool 3D stuff. Apparently I can print stuff out too which is pretty bad ass. Yeah, 3D printing is possible. No, I did not print out a peniscat, but damn if I'm not thinking about doing it now... I had to do a collaboration project and I chose to make 8 bit models in 3D.

Yeah, I guess its kinda phallic. Very tip-of-penis looking. Makes me wonder why Mario jumps on them...

I wonder why no one hasn't made a cigarette look like this. I'd smoke it, just for the look.

The Godfather of the 8-Bit world. He jumps bombs, turtles, bullets, yeah, he's a regular asshole. They're just minding their own business, walking from side to side, and you decide to kill them. Pfft, nothing but a murderer to me.

And for those who want a combo, I made some backgrounds. I think they're pretty sweet, since I made them and all. But let me know what you think.

(W&W #2) Chris Katana Is A Horrible Title

If you don't know who I was referring to in the title, its Chris Kattan... this guy:

He's the much less funny one on the left.

So why the horrible yet catchy title? Because it's time for the second installment of...

Weapons & Wielders #2

...and this one happens to be about the type of swords called Katanas. How can you tell I'm excited? If I stand up right now, someone would probably tell me to sit back down and put that thing away. Understand yet? I'm joking of course...

Took me a while to actually come up with these designs, its a bitch not being able to work on it whenever since I can only access the program in that lab. This class is like that freshman girl who sexually teases the crap out of you and then tells you she's waiting til marriage for sex and only wanted to play around. Do I sound bitter? You should hear the guy who this actually happened to.

Moving on, this is what I first thought to make it look like:

The Hand-guard:
I don't envy the person who'd carve this in real life.

So I thought I was done but then today I decided I wanted to re-do it, make it look more bad-ass (academic term) if you will.

Here's the result:

You gotta say, that's a snazzy name for a sword. Snazzy being an uncool term for cool.

Steel just looks stronger than wood. I don't know why...Plus it looks bad-ass.

(W&W #1) Swords: Why Videogames Are Awesome.

YO! Schools hectic like usual, wish I had more time to play videogames but woe is me... So yeah, here's to the start of an installment Im starting now by hitting Start on the Start Machine... START!
This is about the 3D stuff I make. Maybe I should make a better name for these posts but really, I'm just going to make weapons and maybe some models so here it is:

Weapons & Wielders #1

It might have come to me from Dungeon & Dragons (The double D's... :D) but fuck it, ideas are stolen all the time.

Anyways, I've been making nothing but swords lately using 3D Studio Max which is a bad mama jama of a program (that term is still cool right?). So what sword do you think I tried first? The fucking buster sword from Final Fantasy VII. I just started using this program so I obviously did the easy one from the game but I definitely went through alot of different versions. Check it:

Buster Sword

Yeah...this was my first try at it.
Looks like a metal ice cream bar with gum drops.
This is trying to make the materia look clearer and giving the blade a metal sharp look.
Kind of looks like the sword is having an acid trip.
This is it looking more like a sword.
The edge looks like they're uneven, like metal stairs.
This is the finished product.
I intend to add onto it but this is a finished rough draft :D

So there's one sword out of the way. "What?! You got another sword?" Why yeah, thanks for asking person I asked to type this so it doesn't leak out that I'm crazy(my other personality would hate that...) That one I'll keep for saturday! Womp womp womp. If I make these things too long, shit, I myself won't want to re-read it.
