Happy Belated Thanksgiving
Man am I behind, I drew this up but I hadn't been able to scan it til today. I did this thinking about the way small kids draw their hands and decorate them into turkeys. This is my version. Hope you enjoy it.
Sorry that there hasn't been any new comics or designs but it's finals week right now and there are papers and projects due left & right. When I hand in my final paper, I'm going to draw like two comics, just to catch up on the ideas I've been DYING to draw.

Everything's Sore!
I need more friends....
I'll be submitting this to my school newspaper, let's see how that goes.
So damn tired from this weekend. It's like moving back into school is always such a tiring process but when the person helping you is pregnant (and lazy... JK) and your friends are still home, you tend to feel bad asking for help, especially when you know you won't get it. I mean, what's the big deal about a pregnant woman lifting heavy luggage, doesn't she have the power of two people? Fake Fact: Pregnant women can FIGHT CRIME.
Real Fact: She might not be pregnant...
:D
To all the new and old followers:
Thanks for joining!
Hope you like what I do and comment.
I love reading what you have to say.

Hey, first time in a while I update in nearly a week. :D
I like how this came out and took my friend's advice on working on it more. I liked the idea when I came up with it but it looks so "copy & paste" that it might turn people off. It was fun to do this though and now I gotta concentrate on all those art requests I promised to deliver. I'll be posting them up one at a time, as soon as I finish them.

Eight Bits of Nostalgia I
No posts? College, thats my excuse.
New stuff to post?College, thats my push... to not fail.
So hey, wasup, I'm back. I've been working on some really cool 3D stuff. Apparently I can print stuff out too which is pretty bad ass. Yeah, 3D printing is possible. No, I did not print out a peniscat, but damn if I'm not thinking about doing it now... I had to do a collaboration project and I chose to make 8 bit models in 3D.
Check this out!
This is a cloud. It is also a text box. It can also be a clown's bumpy mouth, if you're drunk enough.
This is a cloud. It is also a text box. It can also be a clown's bumpy mouth, if you're drunk enough.Yeah, I guess its kinda phallic. Very tip-of-penis looking. Makes me wonder why Mario jumps on them...
The Godfather of the 8-Bit world. He jumps bombs, turtles, bullets, yeah, he's a regular asshole. They're just minding their own business, walking from side to side, and you decide to kill them. Pfft, nothing but a murderer to me.
And for those who want a combo, I made some backgrounds. I think they're pretty sweet, since I made them and all. But let me know what you think.

Oh, by the way, pretty happy to see I broke 1,000 page views. I know its not much but I'm feeling pretty cool about it. Wish I saw more comments though! Start commenting passers-by!

And Boom Goes the Dynamite.

Say hello to Peniscat :D
I finally got a routine worked out just for the blog and H.W. so this is going to get updated like crazy. I'm also planning to give the blog look a facelift, a tummy tuck and maybe some collagen injections, if I can afford it.
I've been drawing a lot seeing as how some classes are incredibly boring and notes are just not better than doodles. I haven't even bought a notebook, though I got to buy a new sketchbook, mine has like 4 pages left. (close to finishing one for the first time!)
Joined the Art club, should definitely help me out with my anatomy. Club has nude models pose and so we draw them. First meeting surprised the crap outta me seeing as how I'm eating a sandwich and SURPRISE! the girl gets naked right next to me.
Got some cool sketches down, def going again.
I confused her star of David tattoo for two triangles doing 69...
And finally, to finish up on Peter Sciacca's remaining two characters. I got way into thinking how they should really look, getting into their heads, safe to say I'm crazy for looking too much into doing character profiles. Here's Julia and Simon.
She's totally grown-up cuz she smokes...hardcore!
Might be too metro for a hippie character.
Oh and here's a random boy I did at my friend's place...which I'm now banned from since girls get touchy whenever they come back to their room and you're going through their panties. Jk. They don't like guys in their rooms, apparently they're scared I'm going to leak testosterone on them and make them manly...-er.
He looks confused about why there's kinda a fireball in his hand...
I'm doing the two remaining art requests I have left for Eli and Bianca next Friday so def come back for that. Some funny and fucked up ideas for it >:D All my info is on the right and I'm pretty hyped to start drawing regularly and I'll post up some class doodes as well, just for class related fun.
Peace til Friday.

GunDAMN Its Been a While...:D
Took me all of 2 minutes to come up with that title. Little foreshadowing and a little sexual tension...you like? I like.
Anyways, very sorry for that brief intermission. Shit, you'd think with breaks like that I'd be a big celebrity who could afford to take them. Nope, just a college student and right now, things are hectic. Finals are here, did one today and I was pretty content with it but what do you care, you're here for the drawing of the stuff that my blog dictates me to do (he's holding me hostage!...call someone...)
Back on track with the art commissions. This week, or better yet, for the past few weeks, I've been steadily working on my best friend's request. Now, if it wasn't for that title he has(OMG! BFF), I would've shut his request down without a second thought. Well, there would've been a second thought but it would've been more about violence against the requester. He asked for (like you couldn't guess) a Gundam...a fucking Gundam.(I might have to start watching my language, my grandmother hates seeing me write curses on this thing...she has to stop reding them then :D)
Those things are annoyingly tedious and I have always hated the idea of drawing something too complicated but I gave it a shot and honestly, I don't ever see myself doing one again unless they make Gundams cyborgs and that just sounds dumb so yeah, never again...unless for money. I even decided on doing Gundam Wing only because I remember picking only that character in the SNES (Super Nintendo) Gundam games and yeah, he's even harder.
I started out with a simple (yeah right) out line. Not bad took me all of 5 hours to finish it but yeah, simple...

Then I worked on school, tried not to fail anything, videos here and there and then finally did the outline in Photoshop and that took annoyingly long as well. So many lines I swear I was happy when I finished half, just so I could sleep. See?

Then after that gruesome part wa done, I felt ALOT better. Coloring was a process but it was easy enough to do. There's alot of parts to making the colors seem right and I wanted it to look a little better and to further my understanding of Photoshop so I started using the gradient tool. Nifty little thing and helped out.

I know, I know, the sword looks weird but I wanted it a little tipped and uh, yeah. I might re-touch it a little but I seriously don't want to look at this file for a while. Since it had been a while, I did a quick background that I think seems appropriate so stop teasing me... :(

There you have it. Wow, it feels great to have something new up. I had been coming back to the blog every now and then and expected to see an update from myself. A crazy idea but if it happened, then who was crazy to begin with? NOT ME!...he he.
BIG UPDATE: I started, get this: A PODCAST with my good friend Peter Sciacca called Tangent Combo. We did it a couple weeks back and only have one so far but I want to hear your thoughts. You can subscribe to it using a small button in the page so you can listen to it on "the go"(I just think its cliche to say that and wouldn't be surprised it was copyrighted byt Go-Gurt or something)
Here's the link: Tangent Combo
If you want to talk to me or e-mail me about something, I posted my e-mail on my profile and all my social networking stuff is on the sidebar...(this is a sidebar mom)--->
Follow me on Twitter if you'd like too. I may not update every hour but when I do, you best believe its going to be...kinda ok, good at best. Jk. I try to be funny, you decide if I am.
Peace

Pug+logging=Plugging!
Hey wasup? I got way hammered this weekend. Tip: Liquor impedes ability to heal. Fact: My pinky reswolled up for a few hours. How weird and scary was that?!...Not too much. I'm here to announce something pretty cool and interesting and artistic. I know, not my usual post but there will be a more normal one soon but I really like this artist so bear with me.
I took an Intro to Drawing class at the "prestigious school, SUNY Purchase" (inside joke:this is how the school was referred to in a Wikipedia entry about Zoey Kravitz who left after a year) and found it very helpful. The point is, my teacher's name was Karen Ruenitz (cool last name since there's so many ways to pronounce it wrong but back to the point) and she, I found out, is a graduate student herself which is cool. She's doing an exhibition here in

which is cooler, from:
MFA Graduation Exhibition '09
Cool Handout.
On View from April 20th (Right now!) til April 24th.
I don't announce people's events so you best believe she's good. She did her work on easily breakable paper because she said how she would want something she worked so hard to be seen and then be gone since thats how she sees art to be. In other words,She's bad-ass.
Check her stuff out, I got some of the goods on her work, peep it if you so desire.

They're all human-sized silhouette like figures with a twist. I'm not going to reveal too much since these pics themselves are of non finished works so def go check it out. Karen's a great artist with an affection for drawing herself wearing Addidas (hoping for a sneaker deal? jk) and has a love for fashion. She's teaching now in FIT (Fashion Institute of Technology for non-Googlers) so there's your credentials right there!
I'm too scared to draw something for many hours and then know it won't last. Guess I haven't achieved that level of appreciation for the ART concept.(I keep EVERYTHING). Til next. Expect something annoyingly difficult from me in about 2 days or less.
Art Away!
