Happy Belated Thanksgiving

Man am I behind, I drew this up but I hadn't been able to scan it til today. I did this thinking about the way small kids draw their hands and decorate them into turkeys. This is my version. Hope you enjoy it.

Sorry that there hasn't been any new comics or designs but it's finals week right now and there are papers and projects due left & right. When I hand in my final paper, I'm going to draw like two comics, just to catch up on the ideas I've been DYING to draw.

Nerf Suicide is a healthy alternative.

As soon as school is over (And i drink my celebratory drinks), I will get back to regular posting. Hoping to hear on an interview too, so I hope that comes through.

I had alot of fun with this info graphic design. Mostly, it was to showcase different information I found out about my Twitter from one week of observation. Funny enough, we were only asked to display one type of info graphic but I ended up asking the professor about all these different designs I had planned and sketched out.

I wanted him to give me advice on which ONE design to choose and work on but him being cool said,

"I want you to go ahead and do all of them."

Of course I was like

And so it worked out.  :D

I liked experimenting with this comic, I really tried out alot of different angles I hadn't previously done as well as some expressions bordering on anime in origin which is awesome :D. Its really been a big task just to get one of these pages done considering I'm learning more and more techniques and yet none of them seem to be shaving down any comic-creating time. Guess that's the ruthless world of comics for ya. Don't forget to Vote! It's important for you to decide on what happens next, story's in YOUR hands.

Design

I've been loving this new class I've been taking called Information Aesthetics. It's a really interesting design class based on the premise that data (anything from bus schedules to number of tweets(which I did)) can be displayed in an artistic, informational and aesthetically pleasing way. It's recreating something as old and trustful as a bar graph into something new and exciting yet still informational. This is really helping spruce up my portfolio and different skills although I really got to stop using Photoshop for everything and concentrate a little more on Illustrator. 
Just so I'm more of a Jack of all Trades/Programs.

Poster Designs Are Tiring

This has been a hell of a week for me. 

Honestly had so much work that I was going to sleep late and doing nothing but work this past week. 

Ridiculous!

So yeah, what took me so long was this promotional poster that I made to showcase all the new stuff in a really anticipated game,

So yeah, that's why there wasn't a comic, damn classes are really starting to take their toll but for now, it looks like the work-load has gone back down to normal (which still sucks, mind you). But thankfully, I get to unwind this weekend. Why you may ask?

This is what I'm doing the WHOLE weekend. 


And this year, its grouped up with this!


Its my first time attending this type of convention and today was the first day. Gotta say, my feet are killing me and I should really go to sleep, long day ahead of me tomorrow.
